Helping Clients Through The Divorce Process

Guidance Through All the Stages of Divorce

Deciding to file for divorce is never an easy choice. It can have lasting effects on you and your family years after the papers are filed. If you are interested in filing for divorce, legal separation, custody or have questions about family law, I can help you understand what to expect and how to avoid additional complications.

I am Phoenix family law and divorce attorney Kenneth A. Winsberg, and I have helped numerous clients through the divorce process. Along with more than 40 years of experience, I am also certified as a Family Law Specialist by the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization. As your lawyer, I will take the time to fully understand your specific needs and concerns regarding the issues you have with your family. This is a significant moment in your life and I want to help you make the right decisions.

The Divorce Process: You and Your Spouse Should Be in Control

In order to file for divorce in Arizona, you must be a resident for more than 90 days. State laws also require a 60-day waiting period before the divorce process can continue. For matters that need to be dealt with immediately, such as child or spousal support, there is an opportunity to obtain temporary orders. Judges also require both parties to attend a Resolution Management Conference before any hearing is held to understand what needs to be done in the case and to schedule hearings to deal with the issues.

Throughout the entire divorce process, I will strive to reach a settlement that works for you. If a settlement cannot be reached, I am prepared to fully protect your interests in court.

If you have any questions about the divorce process, schedule an appointment with me by calling 602-248-0274, extension 24 or 10. You can also contact me by e-mail.

Spanish language services are available. I accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
